thanks so much for your comments. to answer your question about the evermore collage: it started out as a mixed media/ collage piece. it's literally just a multitude of cut up images adheared to cardboard with scotch tape and glue. after an eternity of thinking about how to get it into my computer (it's too big for conventional scanners, even to scan in chunks), i just took a photograph of it. then brought that image into photoshop to obscure or enhance certain aspects. the main mission was to change it's color and mood. the face pops out because its an actual front of a doll head affixed to the board with electrical tape.

Thanks for the comment on my Freeway pic. I was thinking about that aquaduct off the 5, but I couldn't find a good place to pull over and there happened to be a bit of traffic. I'll go back soon and shoot there... Thanks a lot!
